Contrasts Gallery was founded in Hong Kong in 1992 by Pearl Lam and is now largely based out of China with two main galleries in the Shanghai Bund area and another in the 798 Art District in Beijing. The gallery's very name, Contrasts, reflects our central guiding philosophy-that in order to progress and grow, we as human beings must embrace differences of all natures. We highlight individual creative talent without prejudice by showing fine art, decorative art, and design. Our diverse platform presents a new explosive and expressive means of visual communication, eminently suited to the rapidly globalising 21st century.
